Acculon Energy Announces Strategic Initiative for a Manufacturing Facility

Acculon Energy, a leading innovator in advanced energy storage solutions, is proud to announce its strategic initiative to construct a 2 GWh lithium battery module manufacturing and pack assembly facility. 

The facility’s initial 1GWh of production capacity will be outfitted for modules utilizing varying cylindrical cell sizes and chemistries. Acculon will employ a flexible manufacturing strategy that is unified by a common system architecture, from materials to electronics, which was developed to meet the safety standards established by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The facility’s pack assembly capacity is similarly flexible to produce low and high-voltage products for Acculon’s partners in off-highway, aviation, aerospace, power sports, light electric vehicles, marine, and energy storage. 

Acculon’s capacity will be strategically located to serve key industry hubs with white-label products and tailored private-label solutions. The production facility will be inaugurated in Fall 2024. Acculon will continue to provide the industry with its engineering capabilities and know-how throughout the battery product development process.
