Acculon Energy

Investors

Acculon Energy’s journey began in 2009 with the building of our first advanced battery testing lab in Columbus, OH.  This boutique lab, CAR Technologies, became an instant hit with global automotive and battery OEMs alike, earning its place as one of the top-ranked battery testing and engineering suppliers in North America and the global go-to cell supplier qualification facility for Stellantis on a global basis.

Over the past 15 years, the lithium battery industry has undergone tremendous growth, regulation, supply chain disruption and change.  While the sheer scale of the automotive and stationary energy storage industries garner most of the attention, repowering from lead-acid to lithium and new electrification programs are sweeping across the material handling, marine, aviation, agriculture, commercial vehicle, powersports, lawn and garden, port vehicles, oil and gas, locomotive, low speed and community electric vehicles, aerospace, and more.

While we love delivering exceptional performance, validation and certification testing services to the automotive industry, Acculon Energy sees a real need to address the electrification programs in the industrial and commercial OEM market.  This $10B and growing North American market segment doesn’t get the media attention. It competes for talent with some of the largest organizations in the world.  It can’t always afford to invest in the specialized facilities and equipment needed to deliver the highest quality lithium battery programs.  However, these OEMs are sophisticated manufacturers and distributors with significant product and market ambitions to move their industry market segments forward.

Our mission is to revolutionize the way that Industrial and Commercial OEMs manage their lithium-ion module and pack development programs by providing reliable, safe, and sustainable battery solutions – based on flexible and scalable design architectures that can be manufactured by Acculon, our clients, or their preferred contract manufacturing partner. We understand the increasing demand for clean energy is poised to play a significant role in the transition toward an electric and sustainable future for these industry leaders.  And we also understand that additional costs of safety, code/regulation compliance, validation and certification, tracking and monitoring, market regionalization and continued supply-side disruption will continue to challenge most industrial and commercial OEMs.

Our teams of experienced engineers and scientists are dedicated to developing and optimizing our flexible, scalable advanced battery solutions to deliver high-performance battery module and pack designs, meeting the requirements of numerous industries and a range of applications.

An initial Series A investment in the summer of 2022 from a global equipment manufacturing company, validated our design, engineering, testing and prototyping expertise, and provided us with the necessary resources to accelerate our growth and bring our innovative battery solutions to a broader customer base.

With a planned follow-on Series B coming in the summer of 2023 and the support of our current investors and partners, we are well-positioned to achieve our goal to become a leader in the next-generation, lithium-ion battery module and pack development services marketplace. With additional prototyping and manufacturing facilities, Acculon Energy will continue innovating and expanding our capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our Industrial and Commercial OEM market base. We invite you to join us on this journey and invest in the future of clean energy.

We are committed to creating value for our investors, customers, and the environment. Thank you for your interest in our company.

Sincerely,
